Medford Lodge has recently partnered with the Shady Cove School District in the Kindles for Books program. Ten Amazon Kindle electronic readers have been donated to the district to be used during summer reading programs.  Freemasonry has a long history of enthusiastic support for public education.  Medford Lodge is committed to this honorable tradition.

Morning Coffee participation growing

posted May 11, 2018, 9:17 AM by Web Master

The two local morning coffees, Mondays from 8:00 to 10:00 in Medford and Thursdays from 8:30 to 10:00 at the Ashland Lodge, have always been popular but we are seeing more people participating lately than ever before.  Both Lodges have been approaching or exceeding 20 participants and the mix of participants changes each week depending upon everyone's schedule.  If we counted everyone who comes over the course of a couple months, the count would be much higher.  If you haven't come lately, consider seeing what makes this social time so popular.  If you are a friend of a Mason, feel free to join us too.  If you are just someone in the public wanting to learn more, this is a great opportunity to meet people who can answer your questions in a relaxed setting.   The link on the left of this page provides additional information.

Changes to Lodge web site - update

posted May 11, 2018, 9:06 AM by Web Master

The Lodge's web site has been updated on nearly every page, including the home page.  The first thing you may notice is the new picture of the front of the building reflecting the new color since we had the exterior walls sealed again.  The narrative is enhanced and the list of additional pages on the left side reflects one addition, Women's Masonic Organizations, and the deletion of a couple of obsolete links.  Take a look through this web site if you haven't recently.  You will find that it has been nicely improved.

Change to Lodge Web Site

posted Apr 22, 2018, 2:28 PM by Web Master   [ updated Apr 24, 2018, 2:15 PM ]

During April and May 2018, the Medford Lodge #103 web site is undergoing construction to make it more current with information that tends to change less frequently and increase its usefulness to members and interested public.  Given the rapid change in events at the lodge, especially such things as meals and degrees, the web site won't contain this information as it is difficult to keep it from becoming obsolete shortly after posting. Current information on Lodge events is always available by calling the Lodge Office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  The web site will remain a useful resource for members of the public interested in Masonry, scholarship candidates and lodge members, but by necessity it is shifting to a format that requires less ongoing maintenance.  This change was authorized by the Lodge in early April, 2018.
